Milestone Sessions

Milestone sessions can take place anytime after the newborn session all the way through high school! If you did not have newborn portraits taken of your baby, 3 months of age is a great milestone to document, when baby is still little and not yet sitting up. They still have little baby features, but at 3 months they are often making eye contact and smiling up at you. If you had a newborn session, Michelle recommends photographing the sitting milestone. When babies sit unsupported, there are many props and poses that can be utilized while photographing them. The sitting milestone is a favorite of many, because babies are just starting to really show some of their personality, with big, toothless smiles, and wide bright eyes. Past the first year, many parents choose to photograph their child once a year at their birthday.
